We have committed ourselves before God to seize every opportunity to
minister to His children and their families.
Our nursery is blessed to have teachers who serve because of the call they feel on their lives to minister to God’s children. It is because of this calling that we can offer you the ministry you will be benefiting from in our nursery rooms.
The goal of Grove City Christian Early School Nursery program is to provide a safe and secure environment and minister to every child. We desire to assist, but not replace, the family in planting Godly seeds in a newly developing foundation.
Some ways we meet our goals are:
Our toddler classes consist of children who range in age from 18 months to 3 years. We are blessed to have teachers who teach because of the call they feel on their lives to minister to God’s children. It is because of this calling that we can offer you the ministry/learning experience you will be benefiting from in our toddler rooms.
The goal of Grove City Christian Early School Toddler program is to provide a safe and secure environment and minister to every child. Some areas of focus: introduction to circle time, self-help skills, sharing, table manners, sensory learning, music and movement, fine and large motor activities, counting and one to one concepts, Bible stories.
We meet our goals by providing small group experiences. See our classroom list by age group:
Our Pre-school programs are truly blessed to have teachers who serve out of a deep sense of calling—a calling to minister to God’s children. It is because of this God-given purpose that we are able to offer not only high-quality early childhood education, but also a Christ-centered environment where spiritual growth is woven into each day.
Pre-school is a time of tremendous social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. The skills learned at this stage—such as knowing what sound the letter “A” makes or how to add 2 + 2—may seem simple, but they form the building blocks for a lifetime of learning and a love for school. Alongside these academic foundations, children are also introduced to Bible teachings and lessons that nurture their understanding of God’s love, kindness, and truth. Through age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, memory verses, and prayer, our curriculum encourages children to grow not just in knowledge, but in faith.
In my 21+ years of experience, I’ve seen again and again: when a child loves their preschool, they are learning to love school—and when they are loved, encouraged, and taught about Jesus, they are learning to love Him too.
Our wonderful staff of teachers take this very seriously! Pre-school may look like all fun and games (you will see story-time, math, music, art, dancing, etc.), but there is an intense amount of brainwork going on. Young children learn through play and creative activity, so your pre-schooler’s building blocks, train tracks and magnetic building system aren’t just entertaining; they’re teaching problem solving and physics. Pre-school is also a time for developing good learning habits and positive self-esteem. As your child learns letters, sounds, colors, shapes, sizes, numbers, counting, memorizing, socializing and sharing, they will begin to feel confident in their abilities. We want your child to LOVE school, and this will prepare them up for a great educational future.
Our School Age programs are blessed to have teachers who serve because of the call they feel on their lives to minister to God’s children. It is because of this calling that we can offer you the ministry you will be benefiting from in our school age classes. Most of the children in our School Age programs are children we had in our infant, toddler and pre-school programs. We take pride in continuing these relationships and look forward to building new relationships with new families!
